My Calling

In 2002, while I was seeking the Lord for my life calling, He said that I would teach people not to let others look down on them because they are young but to set an example with their lives (1 Timothy 4). I thought that meant people young in age, such as children, but recently I have come to realize that God meant young in the faith (i.e. new believers). He has called me to mother young believers through discipleship, inner healing, and deliverance. In this way, they will grow up, know their identity in Christ, and become "oaks of righteousness" that will change entire nations and bring great glory to God!

My life scripture is Isaiah 61:1-4, and it explains my calling well:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor, to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness to the prisoners, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the Day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor."

I am also called to be a "forerunner," like John the Baptist, and prepare the way for Jesus' return. Our time is short, and people must know the heart of God so that they will not grow offended and turn their backs on Him when He releases His judgments in the last days. He does it all for love, out of a heart of love. He wants as many people to know and love Him as possible. My job is to prepare Jesus' Bride (the church), so she will be wearing pure white garments, standing radiantly before Him on the Day they meet face to face. I will do that through not just giving a message but BEING the message (This is why God is taking me through the healing and freedom process of Isaiah 61 now, so I will be equipped to fulfill this call when the time comes)

God has called me to carry all of this out primarily on the foreign mission field. I am called to be a missionary, a "sent one." I will be spiritually birthing and raising children from various nationalities and cultures, and THEY will then be sent out to birth, raise and send others.
